The Icefall 30 from Exped redefines the topic of alpine backpacks - especially when it comes to the ratio of durability to weight. The weatherproof touring backpack is aimed at mountaineering professionals who travel in alpine terrain in all seasons and are looking for a reliable companion.

Its spacious main compartment can be accessed not only from above using a roll closure, but also from the side thanks to a long side zipper - this guarantees quick access even on technical terrain. In combination with the white, high-contrast material, which ensures that the contents of the backpack can be found more quickly, the Icefall offers demanding alpinists the best possible performance.

The newly designed fixation allows you to stably store your skis or ice tools, and the Icefall also offers space for LVS equipment in a spacious zip front compartment. The highlight: If you want to reduce the weight of the Icefall to a minimum, the compression straps and other features can be easily removed. The 40 mm hip belt can be removed and the removable PE foam back panel with EVA padding supports the carrying system.

To make the Icefall an indestructible mountain companion, EXPED makes the backpack from bluesign®-certified UHMPE fabric. This is very light, but also extremely abrasion and tear-resistant.
