The Dynastar Speed Omeglass WC FIS SL Factory 165 R22 is a ski designed specifically for slalom racing, aimed at ambitious competitive skiers and performance-oriented athletes. Its FIS-compliant geometry facilitates tight turns, rapid edge changes and a direct response on the slalom course.

The Rectangular Sandwich construction with full-length sidewalls enables precise power transfer and reliable edge grip on hard and icy surfaces. A core made of poplar and beech wood ensures powerful feedback, whilst full-length Titanal layers above and below the core increase torsional stiffness and smoothness. The integrated Tip Protector protects the ski tip upon contact with slalom gates. The Sintered HD base ensures good gliding performance across a range of racing conditions.

Technology

POPLAR AND BEECH WOOD CORE

The core combines poplar and beech wood to create a stable and resilient structure. This blend of materials promotes direct feedback, precise power transfer and dynamic handling.

FULL TITANAL LAYER

Full-length Titanal layers above and below the wood core increase torsional stiffness and stabilise the ski under high loads. At the same time, they reduce vibrations and ensure smooth control at racing speeds.

RECTANGULAR SANDWICH CONSTRUCTION

In the rectangular sandwich construction, the wood core, Titanal and other material layers are bonded together to form a stable structure. This construction enables even power transfer and a direct response to the skier’s movements.

FULL SIDEWALL

The continuous vertical sidewalls transfer pressure directly to the ski edges. This gives the ski reliable grip and precise control on hard and icy race courses.

SLALOM GEOMETRY

The geometry, optimised for slalom, facilitates tight turns, rapid edge changes and direct steering response. This allows the ski to be manoeuvred precisely through closely spaced gates.

TIP PROTECTOR

The integrated tip protector shields the ski tip from impacts and repeated contact with slalom poles. It enhances durability during training and racing.

SINTERED HD BASE

The sintered HD base has a dense and durable structure. It offers good gliding properties and is designed for regular use in varying racing conditions.
