The Dynastar Speed 650 is a sporty piste ski for experienced skiers who want to combine fast carving turns with responsive and controlled handling. Its geometry, inspired by slalom racing skis, facilitates tight turns, precise turn initiation and a stable ride at higher speeds.

The Hybrid Core 2.0, made from a tridirectional wood and PU construction, dampens vibrations and ensures a smooth ride. The U-shaped Omega-Ti reinforcement increases torsional stiffness and supports direct power transfer.

A moderate rocker at the tip and tail makes it easier to initiate turns, whilst the adaptive sidecut enables controlled handling throughout the entire turn. The sandwich construction with ABS sidewalls ensures reliable edge grip on groomed slopes.

Technology

HYBRID CORE 2.0

The Hybrid Core 2.0 combines the natural riding characteristics of wood with the lightness and damping properties of PU. The tridirectional wood lamination reduces the use of bonded fibreglass layers and promotes a balanced ratio of stability, weight and smoothness.

OMEGA TI

The U-shaped Omega Titanal reinforcement increases the ski’s torsional stiffness. It improves stability under load and supports precise edge control during dynamic turns and at higher speeds.

TIP & TAIL ROCKER

The moderate rocker at the tip and tail of the ski makes it easier to initiate turns and supports quick changes of direction. At the same time, sufficient edge contact is maintained for controlled carving turns.

ADAPTIVE SIDECUT

The adaptive sidecut creates a smooth transition between the tip, the middle and the tail of the ski. This allows the ski to be guided evenly into the turn and adapted to different skiing styles.

SANDWICH CONSTRUCTION WITH ABS SIDEWALLS

The ABS sidewalls transfer the applied force directly to the ski edges. This gives the ski reliable edge grip, precise control and stable handling on groomed slopes.
