The Deuter Zugspitze 22 SL is a classic. Despite all its modern features, its look is reminiscent of the old days.
The Deuter Zugspitze 22 SL was already there when Deuter revolutionised the backpack market in 1984 with the first fully ventilated back for hiking backpacks - the now much copied Aircomfort System.

The women-specific nature of the SL back length is already apparent in the back length: on average, women's backs are not quite as long as those of men. The carrying system of the SL models is therefore slightly shorter than that of Deuter's standard backpacks. In addition, the carrying system is specially adapted to the female anatomy.
