The Deuter Trail 32 EL is a hiking backpack designed for taller people over 1.85 m who need a longer back length for demanding mountain tours and via ferrata routes. Its Extra Long fit combines the close-fitting Trail carrying system with a 48–58 cm back length, giving you a stable fit in steep and technical terrain.

The Airstripes back system combines a reduced contact surface with large ventilation channels and breathable mesh material. Perforated shoulder straps and hip fins enhance airflow, while movable, ergonomically shaped Active Fit shoulder straps follow your movements. A flexible Delrin® U-frame adds stability and supports the close-fitting carry.

On via ferrata routes, attachment points on the shoulder straps keep the carabiners of your via ferrata set within easy reach. The flat lid construction leaves sufficient headroom when wearing a helmet, while the wraparound two-way zipper opening and side pockets provide quick access to your equipment.
