The Deuter Trail 22 SL is a compact women's hiking backpack designed for demanding hikes, mountain tours and via ferrata routes. Its women-specific SL carrying system is tailored to the female anatomy, while the close-fitting design gives you stability and freedom of movement in steep or technical terrain.

The Airstripes back system combines a reduced contact surface with large ventilation channels and breathable mesh material. This allows air to circulate across a large part of the back while keeping the backpack snug against the body. Movable, ergonomically shaped Active Fit shoulder straps adapt to your movements and complement the close-fitting carrying system.

On via ferrata routes, attachment points on the shoulder straps keep the carabiners of your via ferrata set within easy reach, while the flat lid construction leaves sufficient headroom when wearing a helmet. The wraparound two-way zipper opening provides quick access to your equipment, and stowable hip fins add flexibility when they are not needed.
