The Deuter Guide 32 + 6 SL is a women's-fit mountaineering backpack for mountaineering, climbing and ski touring. It is designed for demanding alpine trips where a close fit and plenty of freedom of movement matter.

The Alpine back system keeps the pack close to your body for a stable carry in technical terrain, while channels between the back pads provide ventilation. Pivoting hip fins and shoulder straps adapt to your movements. When climbing, you can remove the hip fins to combine the pack more comfortably with a climbing harness.

The Guide can also be adapted to changing demands on your route. The lid is height-adjustable and removable, and the back pad can be taken out as well. This allows you to reduce weight or use the additional capacity when you need to carry more gear. Deuter recommends a load of 6 to 12 kg.

SL = women-specific fit
The women-specific nature of the SL back length is already apparent in the back length: on average, women's backs are not quite as long as those of men. The carrying system of the SL models is therefore slightly shorter than that of Deuter's standard backpacks. In addition, the carrying system is specially adapted to the female anatomy.
