The Deuter Guide 32 + 6 SL is a women's-fit mountaineering backpack for mountaineering, climbing and ski touring. It is designed for demanding alpine trips where a close fit and freedom of movement matter.

The Alpine back system keeps the pack close to your body for a stable carry in more technical terrain, while channels between the back pads provide ventilation. Pivoting VariFlex hip fins and ActiveFit shoulder straps adapt to your movements. When you're climbing with a harness, the hip fins can be removed to give you greater freedom of movement.

The Guide also adapts easily when the demands of your route change. Its lid is height-adjustable and removable, and the back pad can be taken out as well. This allows you to strip the pack down or use the additional capacity when you need to carry more gear. Deuter recommends a load of 6 to 12 kg.

SL = women-specific fit
The women-specific nature of the SL back length is already apparent in the back length: on average, women's backs are not quite as long as those of men. The carrying system of the SL models is therefore slightly shorter than that of Deuter's standard backpacks. In addition, the carrying system is specially adapted to the female anatomy.
