The Deuter Futura 21 SL is designed for hikers looking for a lightweight, well-ventilated day pack with a women-specific fit. The Aircomfort back system creates space between the pack and your back, while the SL construction is tailored to smaller physiques.

The tensioned mesh back creates a ventilation space that allows air to circulate between your back and the pack. ActiveFit shoulder straps adapt to your movements, while ergonomically shaped hip fins contribute to a close and comfortable fit. This combination is particularly welcome on longer or warmer sections of the trail.

Several outer and hip fin pockets keep smaller essentials within easy reach, while a separate inner compartment provides space for damp gear. This makes it easier to keep your equipment organized throughout the day.

SL = women-specific fit
The women-specific nature of the SL back length is already apparent in the back length: on average, women's backs are not quite as long as those of men. The carrying system of the SL models is therefore slightly shorter than that of Deuter's standard backpacks. In addition, the carrying system is specially adapted to the female anatomy.
