The Deuter Aircontact Lite 40 + 10 is a trekking backpack designed for multi-day trips with a larger amount of gear. Its Aircontact Lite back system combines open-cell functional foam with a ventilation channel and a recessed section in the back padding that provides space to relieve pressure on the spine.

An X-frame stabilizes the carrying system and transfers the load to the ergonomically shaped ECL hip fins. Special padding inserts on the hip fins wrap around the hips for a close-to-body fit. For organized packing, the main compartment can be divided by a zip-out separator. A stretch inner compartment provides separate storage for wet clothing, while a valuables pocket keeps smaller items organized. Deuter recommends a load of 12 to 15 kg.
