When longer trekking trips call for more gear, the Deuter Aircontact Lite 35 + 10 SL combines a comparatively lightweight design with a carrying system made to handle heavier loads. Its SL fit is specifically adapted to the female anatomy.

The Aircontact Lite back system sits close to the body and uses open-cell foam with a ventilation channel to promote airflow. At the same time, the X-frame transfers the load to the ergonomically shaped ECL hip fins. Their padding wraps around the hips for a stable fit even when carrying more gear.

For longer trips, the pack provides flexible organization. A fold-out divider can separate the storage space when needed, while front, side and lid pockets keep frequently used gear within easy reach. The lid can also be removed when it is not required.

SL = women-specific fit
The women-specific nature of the SL back length is already apparent in the back length: on average, women's backs are not quite as long as those of men. The carrying system of the SL models is therefore slightly shorter than that of Deuter's standard backpacks. In addition, the carrying system is specially adapted to the female anatomy.
