The Tech version of the Black Diamond Venom ice axe is even lighter than the classic Venom. A hammer attachment and an adjustable finger rest provide special variability in technically demanding terrain.

Weighing in at only 305 grams, the Venom LT Tech comes with a hammer attachment and adjustable pommel. A replaceable Hot Forged MTN Tech Pick is combined with an ergonomic forged aluminum head and the grippy grooved shaft tapers to a replaceable steel spike.

The Venom LT Tech is also compatible with the Transfer Shovel blade, allowing you to create the ultimate versatile backcountry tool. Finally, you strip down the tool and swap the pick to the Hot Forged MTN Classic Pick and convert to a Black Diamond Venom LT Classic 240-gram tool.
