The Arcteryx Alpha Hardshell Jacket was specially developed for fast, demanding tours where every gram counts, but reliable protection from the elements is essential.

The combination of Gore-Tex Pro ePE with 50 denier Hadron outer material strikes the perfect balance between waterproof, breathable protection and abrasion resistance, making the jacket ideal for everyday use in rough terrain and changing weather conditions.

You can wear the Alpha Hardshell Jacket from Arcteryx comfortably under a climbing harness, and the optimized anatomical cut allows for full range of motion. With the Alpha, you're ready for any storm.

Note: The new ePE membrane technology is lighter and thinner, but just as robust and durable as the materials used previously. You may notice that the outer material of products with ePE membranes becomes damp more quickly, but you can be sure that this does not affect the water impermeability of the membrane itself. If you notice that the fabric gets wet faster than you would like, simply wash and dry the jacket to remove oil contamination and fully restore the DWR.
