Product details: Völkl Mantra 108 26/27 Skis
With the Völkl Mantra 108, you get a high-performance freeride ski that offers maximum stability, precise control and a confident ride in challenging terrain.
A waist width of 108 mm and a Titanal frame for the experienced and highly athletic freerider. Anyone who enjoys skiing really steep and fast off-piste will quickly appreciate the stability and shock absorption provided by the 0.7 mm-thick Titanal frame, which surrounds the heavily stressed tip and tail areas. A 0.3 mm-thick Titanal plate in the binding area also ensures the necessary stiffness. With 108 mm underfoot, the ski offers maximum float, even in deep snow.
Combined with the Titanal frame and carbon tips, the integrated 3D Radius sidecut enables precise power transfer and smooth runs, coupled with uncompromising liveliness and turning behaviour never before experienced on Titanal skis!

Technology:
Multilayer Woodcore
The sidewall continues into the interior of the ski in the form of extremely stable layers of wood directly bonded to the flanks of the sandwich core. Combined with a more flexible, lighter wood in the centre of the sandwich core, this construction offers numerous advantages: The hardwood section within the sidewall ensures increased power transfer, contributes to better edge grip and supports the edge when subjected to external forces. The softwood section in the centre of the ski provides greater agility and manoeuvrability thanks to its lower weight. The combination of both types of wood along the entire length of the ski contributes to optimal stiffness distribution and enables more precise ski control. This construction offers highly competitive skiers a combination of manoeuvrability and stability, which can make the decisive hundredths of a second between victory and defeat.
3D Radius Sidecut
Three radii in one ski for maximum responsiveness and speed in all-mountain conditions. Wider radius at the tip and tail – The wider radii at the tip and tail are ideal for wide turns and high speeds. Easy control and manoeuvrability. Less edge catch. No restriction on turn radii and easy exit from the turn. Tighter turn radius – The tighter radius in the middle favours tight turns and moderate speeds. Extremely easy turn initiation. Super responsive. Effortless and smooth in tight turns.
Base P-Tex 2100
Sintered, ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene base with high density, excellent wear resistance and very good gliding properties.
Full Sidewall ABS
The specific synthetic material used in the sidewall enables precise and direct power transfer.
Titanal Frame
Greater damping and stability across the entire length of the ski; edge grip; reinforcement for the binding platform; damping along the entire length of the ski; lightweight yet strong carbon tips.
Carbon Tip
Carbon in the ski tip ensures very high durability and stability with the lowest possible weight.
Tip & Tail Rocker
Characteristics: Rocker only at the tip and tail, camber in the binding area.
