Product details: Völkl Blaze 82 23/24 Skis
Völkl Blaze 82 Ski - Super light, super agile and resource-efficiently produced all-mountain freerider. A center width of 82 mm defines the scope of the all-mountain ski, with tip & tail rocker pretty clearly in the direction of groomed slopes.
The Blaze 82 is recommended for ambitious beginners and intermediates who have discovered skiing for themselves and are looking for a smooth ski for plenty of fun throughout the area. Thanks to 3D Radius Sidecut and continuous sidewall, the ski impresses with its maneuverability at all speeds as well as in tight turns - ideal even in choppy snow or in narrow passages. This is particularly supported by the Suspension Tips & Tails exclusively installed in the Blaze. The inserts of elastic Fabrics dampen contact with the snow at the ski ends, act like a bumper, especially in changing snow conditions.
The tip-to-tail wood core installed in the Völkl Blaze 82, made of particularly light and stiff wood species, allows the ski to be built impressively light. Increased dynamics and stability are thus guaranteed! The low weight also extends the range of use of the ski in the direction of touring. For beginners looking for the one ski for all occasions, this is a real tip
Features:
Tip & Tail Rocker
Character: rockered only in the shovel and tail area, preload in the binding area.
3D Radius Sidecut
Three radii in one ski for maximum turning ability and speed in all-mountain use: wide radius in the shovel and tail.
Full Sidewall
The sidewall over the entire length of the ski ensures direct and best possible power transmission. The wider radius in tip and tail is ideal for long turns and high speed. Easy control and maneuverability, less blending, no restriction on turn radius and easy exit from the turn, tight inside radius.
Tight center radius favors tight turns and moderate speed. Extremely easy turn initiation, super nippy, effortless and smooth in tight turns.
Suspension Tips & Tails
Inserts of elastic, rubber-like Fabrics on the edges of the tip and tail. In windblown or tracked snow, they act like a bumper. Their dampening elasticity provides better resistance to disturbance and supportive lift.
Multilayer Woodcore Light
Combining light softwood (poplar) and heavy hardwood (beech) creates a compromise of light weight, strength, durability, and cushioning. Beech wood is used in high-force areas of the ski: under the binding, along the edges and sidewalls.
Slots in the wood core reduce weight and optimize the flex pattern for more pliability in the center. The number of slots varies depending on the target group.
