The shoe for fast hikers: The Tecnica Agate Speed S GTX is dynamic, direct and agile. Thanks to the responsive Impulso technology with a Pebax elastomer insert in the midfoot and forefoot area, it makes fast female hikers even faster and more precise.

The fit and construction are based on scientific findings about the female anatomy and have therefore been specially developed for women's feet.

The Vibram Megagrip sole and Ortholite footbed provide lasting comfort on fast hikes.

Technology

WOMEN'S SPECIFIC COMFORTABLE FIT
The Agate has been designed around a gender-specific anatomical last to carefully accommodate the more triangular shape, lower volume and narrower heel bone of women's feet. The midsole has been optimised to support the higher arch typical of women's feet. The comfortable anatomical design has been approved by focus groups of the W2W initiative and scientifically confirmed by CeRiSM.

REACTIVE CUSHIONING
The midsole area features Tecnica's exclusive Impulso technology, which combines the benefits of high-rebound EVA and a full-length Pebax® foam plate for excellent cushioning, explosive energy return and long-lasting flexibility. The Spark thus offers a comfortable and adaptable fast hiking experience on technically demanding terrain.

STABLE FOOT SUPPORT
The Impulso technology's Pebax foam plate is housed in an oversized EVA midsole geometry and provides a lightweight, durable base that surrounds the foot. This construction increases the lateral stability of the shoe on fast descents or uneven terrain. In addition, the midfoot support band acts as a supportive link between the upper and midsole, improving stability and power transfer.
