The Tecnica Agate S GTX is a speedhiking shoe for demanding alpine terrain that is tailored to the specific anatomy of the female foot. It combines weatherproof comfort, cushioning and flexibility in a fresh, lightweight design that protects the foot well.

This shoe is based on the findings of Tecnica's Women 2 Women focus group. They use a gender-specific design process to develop tailored solutions for female athletes and mountaineers. The result is a women-specific fit built around a last that mimics the shape of the female foot, offering a high level of comfort right from the first fitting. This lightweight and versatile shoe is comfortable to wear and offers stable support on technical, rocky terrain, but can also be worn well in the city.

The particularly lightweight and durable midsole with IMPULSO technology and EVA and Pebax® elastomer insert offers - especially on sloping terrain - excellent cushioning and improved rebound, as shown in tests by CeRiSM, the research centre for sport and health at the University of Verona. Precisely coordinated flex points in the sole ensure optimal flexibility and support the natural rolling movement of the foot. Arch support and a special support band in the upper ensure high stability and a good fit of the shoe.
