Swix VP65 is a red-black kick wax for classic cross-country skis in challenging conditions around the freezing point. It is also suitable for high humidity as well as older and transformed snow. The black additive helps prevent icing.

For new snow, the temperature range is 0°C to +2°C, while for transformed, fine-grained snow it ranges from 0°C to -4°C. VP65 is preferably applied over several layers of a slightly harder wax and can also be used as a top layer over klister.
