Swix VG35 Grund is a base binder for cross-country skis and provides a durable base layer for VR and V grip waxes. It is designed for conditions below -1 °C and is particularly suitable for transformed, granular snow where the wax layer is exposed to strong abrasion.

Rub the base binder onto the kick zone and heat it in with a waxing iron. After cooling, smooth the surface with a cork before applying the appropriate grip wax.
