Muscle fatigue causes the foot to collapse and lengthen, and the metatarsals to widen. Sidas took these phenomena into account when developing these Trail Ultra Race socks in collaboration with the athletes from the Sidas Matryx team. Thanks to Ultra Fit technology, the Trail Ultra socks act like an exoskeleton, counteracting the effects of muscular fatigue in the foot during an ultra-trail race.

The Trail Ultra Race sock boasts all the features of the perfect ultra-trail sock: straps at the heel and across the metatarsals to prevent injuries and fatigue, combined with optimal breathability to prevent sweat build-up, and a wide toe box to support the foot’s elongation during the race.

Two non-slip grip strips have been integrated into the sock to improve the synergy between the sock and the sole, along with built-in ankle protection and an In&Out construction for better sole contact and feel. A reflective strip on the sock ensures better visibility during night-time runs. The socks also offer optimal moisture and odour management thanks to Polygiene technology. This treatment, which uses naturally occurring silver salt microparticles, prevents the spread and growth of bacteria and reduces odour build-up during strenuous activities.

The Sidas Trail Ultra Race Unisex Socks stay fresh and last longer. The Polygiene fibres have been laboratory-tested and are completely safe for the skin.
