You can’t even see it on the bike, and yet every bike needs (at least) two of them: the bicycle inner tube. The ETRTO measurement on the side of the tire tells you which tube fits. The first two digits before the hyphen indicate the tire width in mm, while the digits after the hyphen indicate the tire’s inner diameter, which for Schwalbe’s No. 17 tube is 27“ and 28”. For the valve and the correct length, it’s best to use your old tube as a guide: for No. 17, the Schrader AV valve is 40 mm.
