Technology

Gaiter
The gaiter is built with a nylon fiber interwoven with spandex for the elasticity. The thermowelded PU film on the lower area, increase the protection and insulation on the most critic and sensitive zone. The top elastic band keeps always the upright position for walking comfort without pressure points. We have added a split on the center of the gaiter with a Velcro closure. This helps skier firstly to easily slip the foot into the boot (please, remember to do this operation with the liner already inside the shell) and secondly to easily manage the operation of removing or inserting the liner into the shell before/after use and to inspect the shell internally for the necessary cases. It is easy to open and adjust it thanks to the Velcro attachment, allowing the gaiter to better wrap the different volumes of skier’s calf.

Grilamid LFT Shell
The Carbon Grilamid LFT (Long Fiber Technology) infuses long strand carbon fibers into Grilamid plastic, significantly increasing strength and stiffness. The result is reduced weight with increased power and torsional rigidity, providing and amazing blend of power and precision in a lightweight backcountry package

Speed Lock System Lite
Is a lacing system, consisting of the lever A-Light, lightweight and durable, a Dyneema cord, two loops and two metal hooks. Thanks to this system, the cuff and the shell can be released or locked in a single movement, allowing the front opening or closing of the cuff.

BOA Fit System
This system provides a closure and a custom fit for maximum comfort without pressure points. The hidden guides allow an easy regulation of the closure on every type of feet volume. On the Alien RS the BOA works directly on the inner boot, increasing the feeling and sensibility onyour feet. Thecable with its special construction and coating allow the lace to withstand the abrasion and the fatigue of thousands of hours of use.
