Salewa developed the hybrid softshell jacket for such days: The Sella Durastretch Hybrid Softshell protects against wind and weather, warms when it's cold and remains highly breathable during intensive units.

Thanks to the hybrid construction, the Sella Durastretch Hybrid Softshell jacket combines the comfort of a softshell with the protection of a hardshell jacket in exposed areas such as the front and shoulders. The jacket is designed according to the body mapping principle, so that different parts of the body can be supplied with exactly the right material. On the back and on the arms, the Durastretch softshell main material with 22 percent fine merino wool ensures excellent breathability and ideal moisture transport. On the other hand, our light, windproof and waterproof three-layer Powertex material is used in the front and on the shoulders, which reliably protects against adverse conditions.

With features such as the direct-access breast pocket, which provides quick access to the avalanche transceiver or the layers underneath with an innovative zip system with double sliders, the softshell jacket is the ideal companion for alpine activities in winter. The zips are waterproof, the cuffs can be adjusted using the Velcro fastener and close neatly over the gloves. Both materials are also equipped with a permanently water-repellent, PFC-free DWR (durable water-repellent) finish.
