Petzl Tibloc is a very compact and lightweight ascender for rope ascents, suitable for almost all rope diameters.

Other possible use for the Tibloc clamp: hauling systems or friction knot replacement in self-rescue situations. Petzl has an automatic system that presses the carabiner against the rope to start the braking action on the rope.
