Product details: Petzl Rad Line 6 mm Utility Cord Orange
The Petzl Rad Line 6mm utility cord offers good handling and is ideally suited for crevasse rescue, rappelling and roping up on glaciers.
The ultra-lightweight cord weighs just 22 grams per metre and is easy to transport in a rucksack thanks to its low weight and pack size. Its special sheath construction is compatible with the Tibloc rope clamp and the Micro and Nano Traxion pulleys, which offers a wide range of possible uses. The non-slip, rough sheath improves handling and makes it easier to control when abseiling. With an elongation of less than 2 %, the rope is hyperstatic, which increases the efficiency of rescue manoeuvres and eliminates the yo-yo effect when abseiling or catching a crevasse fall. Ideal for roping up on ski mountaineering tours to safely bypass crevasse zones.
Please note: Not suitable for climbing!
