The Petzl Quark 50 cm ice axe with hammer is suitable for both mountaineering and ice climbing thanks to its easy, comfortable handling and modular head.

The Petzl Quark is a versatile ice axe with hammer designed for technical mountaineering and ice climbing. Its perfectly balanced design and the ice pick ensure safe placement in any ice.

The Trigrest and Griprest finger rests allow easy and comfortable handling in any situation. They improve grip safety in difficult passages. The height of the finger rest can be adjusted without tools. It can be folded in to put the ice tool in the snow.

Thanks to the modular head, the technical characteristics of the ice tool can be adapted to the intended tour. The modular Quark Ice Axe  with hammer from Petzl can be easily adapted to different and technically demanding routes: snow couloirs, ice gullies, north faces, ice falls, etc.
