The wide, padded shoulder and hip straps, together with the close-fitting, full-contact back panel reinforced with metal struts – part of the unique Swisswool 3D Back System – ensure a high level of comfort and distribute the load evenly across the back. For optimal climate regulation at the contact points, the back panel, shoulder straps and hip belt are lined with a Swisswool wool fleece, which reliably absorbs water vapour and dries quickly.

The Ortovox Peak 32 S also features a separate safety compartment, numerous attachment points for ropes, ice axes, helmets, skis, snowboards and poles, as well as a side crampon pocket. The two main outer materials are made of polyamide, making the rucksack extremely robust and durable.
