As an alternative to the down jacket, Norrøna has developed this lightweight insulation jacket Falketind Thermo60 Hood, which is perfect for your mountain tours, ski tours and hikes all year round.

Here the AeroDownproof upper material from Norrøna was used, which stands for windproofness as well as a light and soft wearing comfort and the synthetic insulation from Thermo60, which ensures an excellent warmth-weight balance. The jacket can be stowed away very small and easily.
The Thermo60 insulation used is 100% Recycled Polyester 60g/m, the main shell is 20D Recycled Nylon Ripstop fabric and shoulders, arms and hood are reinforced with a durable and structured lightweight 30D Ripstop Cordura Nylon, which provides extra protection and durability. Both materials have a PFC-free DWR treatment for additional water-repellent properties. Key features include a one-hand adjustable helmet-compatible hood, a zippered chest pocket, two hand pockets and elasticated cuffs.

This insulation jacket Falketind Thermo60 Hood by Norrøna has a functional Y-cut and flexible arms for good freedom of movement, even when climbing. Among other things, it was also developed to fit over and under the Falketind Gore-Tex jacket and is therefore cut slightly shorter.
