The Saltoro jacket by Mountain Equipment is a reliable GORE-TEX shell jacket for women, designed for trekking, backpacking and long days in the mountains. It combines robust weather protection with comfortable breathability and a cut that allows for freedom of movement – ideal when the weather changes quickly whilst out and about.

The 3-layer GORE-TEX 75D fabric provides reliable protection against rain, wind and damp, whilst the durable water-repellent (DWR) finish ensures performance even in persistently wet conditions. The fully adjustable Mountain Hood offers secure protection in bad weather without restricting visibility or freedom of movement.

The Alpine Fit ensures a comfortable, slim fit with ample freedom of movement for active pursuits. The 2-way YKK® AquaGuard® Vislon® front zip makes the jacket easy to use and allows for quick ventilation when needed. Two zipped pockets with YKK® AquaGuard® zips provide practical storage space, whilst the side Core-Body vents enable effective temperature regulation during intense climbs. Adjustable cuffs and a dual drawcord at the hem ensure a precise fit and reliably keep out wind and moisture.
