Product details: Meindl Guffert GTX Hiking & Trekking Boots Braun Men
With the Guffert GTX, Meindl has included a comfort-fit model for mountaineers in its range. The model has a cork footbed and volume compensation. The volume compensation is made of EVA. It extends over the entire sole surface and is an additional cushioning element.
If the foot needs more volume, this insert can be removed – and the foot has more space!
Thanks to the innovative Comfort-Fit last, specially developed for this line, even more comfort is provided compared to the normal trekking last.
Comfort-Fit lasts are wider at the base. This means you stand wider and more comfortably on the ground. The big toe remains straight and can move freely. The shoe is more voluminous at the ball of the foot. This creates more space and softness, especially for problematic areas of the ball of the foot.
The sole construction allows for easier rolling and a softer foot feeling. The natural cork footbed is extremely light, as 89% of the fabric consists of gaseous Fabrics. The unique cellular structure ensures walking and standing comfort that feels good. The footbed is climate regulating, the cork ensures a cosy shoe interior climate.
