Rapid assistance is crucial when rescuing people buried under avalanches. To ensure that no time is lost when setting up the LACD Avalanche Probe Express Evo probe, the 240 cm long avalanche probe can be made ready for use in no time at all.

Its individual segments (6 pieces) are fitted with small plastic cones so that they slide into each other without getting caught. Simply pull on the loop of the steel cable until the probe is taut - and it is ready for use. With a length of 49 cm, the individual aluminum segments of the LACD probe fit neatly into the ski touring backpack when folded and are equipped with depth markings at 5 cm intervals.

Together with an avalanche transceiver and avalanche shovel, the durable Avalanche Probe Express Evo avalanche probe from LACD is part of the basic equipment for freeriders and ski tourers.
