Product details: Madshus Redline Skin X-Stiff 23/24 Classic Skis Design
The Madshus Redline Skin X-Stiff is an uncompromising classic race ski for technically skilled and performance-oriented cross-country skiers. Its exceptionally stiff X-Stiff camber is designed for high-impact skiing and for skiers with a powerful, precise kick. The final ski selection is based on body weight and the actual measured flex of the ski pair.
The integrated climbing skin is made of 100% mohair and provides reliable grip without the need for traditional climbing wax or klister. Thanks to Progressive Skin Milling, the skin is recessed deeper in the front and rear sections of the grip zone and shallower in the middle. This reduces snow contact between the skin and the ski during the glide phase and improves gliding performance, especially during double poling and downhill skiing. The lightweight PR 100X Core, made of Rohacell foam, is reinforced by a triaxial weave of glass and carbon fibers.
This construction offers high torsional rigidity, direct power transmission, and dynamic responsiveness at a low weight. Tuned Dynamic Response further enhances energy return under varying ski loads. The fast P300 Nano Base is designed for performance-oriented training and racing. Madshus Empower stores individual production and flex data for each ski – a significant advantage in precisely tuning an X-Stiff race ski to the skier.

For cross-country skiing, body weight is crucial for determining the recommended ski length! If two ski lengths are possible, beginners should choose the shorter ski, while more advanced skiers should opt for the longer one.
