The Madshus Redline Skin is a performance-oriented classic skin ski for ambitious cross-country skiers who want to combine sporty gliding characteristics with the uncomplicated grip of an integrated climbing skin. It is ideal for intensive training and racing and eliminates the need for traditional climbing wax. 

The integrated climbing skin is made of 100% mohair and provides reliable grip during the push-off phase. Thanks to its progressive milling, the skin is recessed deeper at the front and rear and shallower in the middle. This reduces skin contact during the glide phase and achieves a balanced ratio of grip and glide. Inside, the lightweight PR 100X Core made of Rohacell foam is at work. A triaxial reinforcement of glass and carbon fibers surrounds the core, supporting high torsional rigidity, direct power transmission, and precise ski control. The P300 Nano Base is designed for performance-oriented gliding, making the Redline Skin a fast and dynamic ski for sporty skiing. 

An integrated Madshus Empower RFID chip stores pair-specific production and flex data, enabling precise selection of the perfect pair of skis. The pre-mounted MOVE binding plate is compatible with the NNN system. The binding itself is not included.

Ski Length Recommendation:

For cross-country skiing, body weight is crucial for determining the recommended ski length! If two ski lengths are possible, beginners should choose the shorter ski, while more advanced skiers should opt for the longer one.
