Madshus Redline Skiathlon Boot – an uncompromising race boot for athletes competing at the highest level in both classic and skating techniques.

The Redline Skiathlon Boot is specifically engineered for competitions in which both skiing techniques are performed with the same boot. Its construction combines the lateral stability of a skating race boot with the forefoot flexibility required for a dynamic classic kick. During long marathon races, the additional support promotes controlled power transfer and helps reduce premature fatigue.

The three-dimensionally moulded Integrated Carbon Base follows the contours of the foot and minimises the amount of material between the foot and the ski. It creates a torsionally stiff platform for powerful lateral movements when skating, while its carefully balanced sole flex allows natural foot movement and an efficient kick in classic technique.

The close-fitting Redline Carbon Power Cuff provides strong lateral support during dynamic skating strides and fast descents. The cuff and binding toe bar are replaceable, allowing worn components to be renewed and the boot to be individually adapted.

The low-cut RaceWrap liner construction surrounds the foot with minimal seams and distributes pressure evenly. Deeply anchored Lacing Fingers spread the tension of the lacing system across the entire foot, improving heel retention and the connection to the ski.

A waterproof and breathable MemBrain softshell cover protects the lacing and foot against moisture. The Redline Skiathlon Boot is purpose-built for precise ski control, efficient power transfer and demanding racing in both cross-country techniques.
