The Madshus Redline Classic Zero Stiff is a highly specialized classic race ski designed for challenging conditions around freezing. The Zero truly shines in high humidity and on icy tracks, when hard wax no longer provides reliable grip and klister tends to freeze.

 At its heart is the special Zero Grip Zone in the kick zone. This zone consists of a rubber-polyethylene blend roughened with sandpaper. This process creates fine fibers that generate grip during push-off, while simultaneously offering significantly better gliding properties than classic klister. Different grit sandpaper allows the structure to be adjusted to suit specific snow and temperature conditions. 

The Stiff version features a firmer camber and is designed for correspondingly higher loads and flex ranges. The precise selection of the Redline race ski is determined not only by length but also by the measured flex of the specific pair of skis. Inside, the lightweight PR 100X Core ensures a very low weight. A carbon and fiberglass reinforcement increases torsional rigidity and stability, supporting direct power transmission and precise ski control. 

The high-quality P300 Nano base is designed for performance-oriented training and racing. Combined with the special Zero insert, this creates a racing ski for precisely those conditions where classic wax solutions are particularly difficult to fine-tune. 

Ski Length Recommendation: 

For cross-country skiing, body weight is crucial for determining the recommended ski length! If two ski lengths are possible, beginners should choose the shorter one, while more advanced skiers should opt for the longer one. 

192 cm = 50 - 60 kg 
197 cm = 60 - 70 kg 
202 cm = 70 - 80 kg
