Product details: Madshus Redline Classic LTD Green Base Stiff 23/24 Classic Skis Design
The Madshus Redline Classic LTD Green Base Stiff is a highly specialized classic race ski designed for warm, wet, and coarse-grained snow conditions. The LTD version combines a camber specifically tuned for klister with the exceptional P340 Green Base and is aimed at experienced cross-country skiers and racers seeking maximum glide performance in challenging warm conditions.
The Stiff version features a stiffer camber for correspondingly higher load ranges. The Dynamic Klister Camber has a tall, dynamically responsive wax chamber that provides ample clearance for a thicker klister application. During the double poling technique, the grip zone remains as open as possible, while it closes in a controlled manner from the front and back during the active push-off. The Low Angle Pressure Zones are specifically designed for soft, wet, and coarse-grained snow.
The shallow pressure angles allow the ski to glide efficiently over slower and more water-rich snow crystals. Inside, the lightweight PR 100X Core made of Rohacell foam is at work. A triaxial carbon construction made of glass and carbon fibers encases the core, ensuring high torsional rigidity, direct power transmission, and dynamic performance at a very low weight. The heart of this LTD version is the P340 Green Base.
This special racing base was developed for warm, wet, old, and coarse-grained snow—precisely the conditions where conventional all-purpose racing bases can lose speed.
Ski Length Recommendation:
When cross-country skiing, body weight is crucial for determining the recommended ski length! If two ski lengths are possible, beginners should choose the shorter one, while more advanced skiers should opt for the longer one.
197 cm = 60 – 70 kg
202 cm = 70 – 80 kg
