The Madshus Race Pro Skin Soft is a performance-oriented classic skin ski for ambitious cross-country skiers who rely on reliable grip and fast gliding characteristics during training and races. The Soft version features a softer camber and is particularly suitable for skiers of lighter weight or ski combinations with a lower flex.

The short climbing skin, made from 100% mohair and deeply embedded in the base, provides reliable grip during the push-off without the need for climbing wax or klister. The progressive milled profile is deeper at the front and rear and shallower in the centre. This reduces skin contact during the glide phase whilst ensuring a secure push-off.

The Triaxial Construction combines glass and carbon fibres around the core, ensuring high torsional stiffness, direct power transfer and precise ski control.

The Speed Tip Cold construction gives the ski a flat tip and an extended pressure zone. This enables the Race Pro Skin to deliver efficient gliding performance, particularly on compacted snow.

Recommended ski length:

In cross-country skiing, body weight is the key factor in determining the recommended ski length! If two ski lengths are suitable, beginners should tend to choose the shorter one, whilst more advanced skiers should tend to choose the longer one.
