The Madshus Race Pro L-Skin Soft is a performance-oriented classic skin ski for ambitious cross-country skiers who want to combine reliable grip with sporty gliding characteristics. The soft version has a gentler camber and requires less effort to close. This makes it particularly suitable for the lower weight and flex ranges within the respective ski length. 

The heart of the Race Pro L-Skin is the longer climbing skin made of 100% mohair, which is deeply embedded in the base. Compared to a shorter race skin construction, the larger skin surface provides additional grip during the push-off. At the same time, the skin remains deeply embedded in the base to minimize gliding resistance. Climbing wax or klister is not required. The lightweight PR100X core ensures low weight and dynamic performance. A triaxial carbon construction made of carbon and glass fibers surrounds the core, increasing torsional stiffness, stability, and precise power transmission.

The flat Speed Tip Cold shovel design extends the pressure zone, allowing the ski to glide efficiently, especially on compact snow. The high-quality P300 Nano Universal Base is designed for fast gliding performance in varying trail conditions. The pre-mounted MOVE™ 3.0 binding plate is compatible with the NNN system. Bindings are not included.

Ski Length Recommendation: 

When cross-country skiing, body weight is crucial for determining the recommended ski length! If two ski lengths are possible, beginners should choose the shorter ski, while more advanced skiers should choose the longer one.
