The Madshus Panorama M55 IntelliGrip® Transition is a versatile backcountry cross-country ski designed for touring off the groomed trails. Within the Panorama range, it is positioned as a well-balanced all-rounder and, with its sidecut of 68–55–62 mm, offers a good compromise between float in softer snow, efficient propulsion and secure control on firmer terrain.

A full-length steel edge ensures reliable edge grip and a high level of control on hard, icy or challenging terrain. This makes the Panorama M55 particularly suitable for varied tours where both good gliding performance and safety on descents are required.

The Multicore wood core ensures a stable and harmonious construction. A P-Tex 2000 Electra base with Skin Pocket is used as the gliding surface. The ski can be used in the classic style with climbing wax or fitted with a suitable IntelliGrip® Transition Skin.

The IntelliGrip® Transition System utilises a recessed skin pocket in which the removable climbing skin is securely anchored. The smoothest possible transition between the glide surface and the skin reduces additional drag and helps to prevent icing under the ski. This allows the ski to be flexibly adapted to different snow and touring conditions.

With its balanced width and full-length steel edge, the Panorama M55 is aimed at ski tourers looking for a versatile backcountry ski for changing snow and terrain conditions.

Recommended ski length:

Your body weight is the key factor when choosing ski length (size). If you fall between two weight ranges, it is advisable, as a beginner, to opt for the shorter ski. If you are a technically advanced skier, the longer ski is recommended.

Also pay attention to the additional designations: Soft, Medium, Hard/Stiff. These specifications further refine the weight ranges.
