The Madshus Active Pro Skin is a versatile classic skin ski for touring and regular training on groomed trails. It is especially suited to recreational skiers and sporty beginners looking for an uncomplicated ski with reliable grip and good gliding characteristics.The set is offered with the Rottefella Performance Classic binding. 

The integrated IntelliGrip® Skin in this generation consists of 70% mohair and 30% nylon. This material blend combines good grip with smooth gliding, eliminating the need for traditional climbing wax or klister. A camber specifically tuned for skin skis supports the balance between a secure kick and maximum glide. The lightweight Polycell + Carbon Core combines a PU foam core with carbon and fiberglass reinforcements. This gives the ski an excellent blend of low weight, damping, and stability. The Torsion Cap Construction further enhances durability and allows for precise adjustment of flex and camber.

With its sporty 43-44-44 mm sidecut, the Active Pro Skin remains stable and efficient. The fluorine-free Universal Race Base is designed for a wide range of snow conditions. The Madshus Empower System allows for the storage and retrieval of pair-specific production and flex data.

Recommended ski length:

In cross-country skiing, body weight is the key factor in determining the recommended ski length. If two lengths are suitable, beginners should opt for the shorter ski, whilst more advanced skiers should choose the longer one.
