The La Sportiva TX5 GTX is a high yet lightweight shoe for hiking and trekking tours, even with a heavy pack. It is ideal for ascents or hikes in challenging and uneven terrain. Equipped with the Gore-Tex Extended Comfort membrane, the shoe offers lightness, comfort, waterproofness and breathability.

The abrasion-resistant scree guard made of leather and the impact-resistant rubber toe cap offer optimal protection, while the 3D Flex movement system at the ankle allows maximum freedom of movement and surefootedness.

The La Sportiva TX5 is a structured and protective shoe that is made for long use thanks to the stabilizing insole. The sole made from a Vibram Megagrip compound is particularly slip-resistant and the wide heel, combined with the hiking studs and differentiated thicknesses, supports the grip on the downhill as well as the uphill.
