With a traditional fleece, the cut fibers that form the fluffy structure are exposed and can therefore come loose during the washing process or when the garment is in use. With Mono Air, endlessly long, fluffy fibers are knitted into small pockets between the top and bottom fabric. The pockets trap warm air from the body to form a protective layer from the cold, while keeping the fibers from falling out. The surface of the fabric has a special protective layer that prevents pilling and abrasion.
