The high-quality HANWAG by Gottstein slipper, Loafer Comfort, is made from an exclusive wool blend of Tyrolean Stone Sheep and Gotland Sheep - produced in the heart of Tyrol. This natural material is characterized by outstanding functional properties and is complemented by a leather sole made from hydrophobized Perwanger leather.

The collaboration between HANWAG, a long-established Bavarian shoemaker, and the Tyrolean wool manufacturer Gottstein blends centuries-old craftsmanship with contemporary innovation. The Gottstein family business has been processing wool into high-quality felt products for four generations. The Loafer Comfort is proof of this expertise and is made from wool that is obtained without mulesing. The Tyrolean Stone Sheep is a rare breed of sheep whose conservation is actively promoted by Gottstein. The wool is durable, breathable, odour-neutralizing and heat-insulating.

Particularly noteworthy is the use of clear Tyrolean mountain water in the manufacturing process, which ensures the high quality of the fabrics. Each felt slipper is made seamlessly by hand using a shoe last. The comfortable, red leather sole made from high-quality Perwanger leather makes the shoe non-slip and durable.
