The Hanwag Kaduro Light GTX has endurance - both over a long period of time and over a long distance. In its development, Hanwag has taken the approach of creating an equally lightweight, well-cushioned and durable low-cut hiking boot with high energy return and 100% Made in Europe, which fulfils the realistic needs of hikers.

Its innovative midsole technology combines the best properties of PU - stability, cushioning and durability - with the properties of e-TPU - lightness, comfort and energy return. HANWAG developed this technology, which is unique in the outdoor footwear sector, in collaboration with BASF - based on extensive material tests.

The sole absorbs the energy generated when you hit the ground and returns it as you walk. At the same time, the softer midsole makes walking more comfortable. Both effects support hikers, especially over long distances.

The sole package is complemented by a new, specially developed outsole with a multifunctional design that offers optimum grip on a wide variety of surfaces. The profile of the weight-optimised outsole is designed to wear more slowly and therefore also contributes to the longevity of the shoe. Thanks to the lightweight Gore-Tex Invisible Fit membrane, which is integrated almost invisibly into the shoe by directly bonding the upper material and laminate, the shoe is windproof, waterproof and breathable.

Despite the minimalist design, Hanwag has not focussed exclusively on weight reduction for the Hanwag Kaduro Light GTX, but has deliberately opted for even lighter but less durable materials.
