Ideal for winter and summer glacier ascents, the Garmont Tower 3.0 Extreme GTX mountaineering boot is compatible with semi-automatic crampons. The two-layer construction features a high-strength polyester liner with PU inserts and an abrasion-resistant bi-elastic material gaiter for maximum comfort. The BOA Fit System with two adjustment wheels and Heel Lock technology optimises the fit and stability of the foot.

Instep Lock technology ensures a perfect fit at every stage of ascent and descent. The PFC-free Gore-Tex membrane (ePE) provides waterproofing and thermal insulation. The Ortholite O'Therm footbed with insulating foam layer provides additional protection against the cold.

The shoe's durable construction includes a protective rubber edge over the polyurethane midsole that improves the bond between the upper and sole. The Vibram Vertex outsole with Durastep compound and Traction Lug technology provides 25% more traction and 50% more stability.
