This feature helps you recognise the effects of your endurance training based on your fitness improvements and your training log.
Training Readiness
Get a Training Readiness score straight after waking up, based on sleep quality, recovery, training load and more. You’ll know straight away whether you can train hard today or should take it a bit easier.
Training Status
Get insights to help you understand whether you’re building fitness, at your peak or feeling fatigued during training.
Garmin Coach
Achieve your goals with Garmin Coach training plans for running, cycling, strength training and fitness. Some even adapt to your health and fitness data.
Race Time Prediction
Get information on your potential target time for a 5K, 10K, half marathon or marathon.

ClimbPro: Pacing yourself on climbs
View real-time information on current and upcoming climbs on downloaded routes.
Grade-adjusted pace
Find out what your running pace would be if you were running on flat ground or up a climb whilst maintaining the same level of effort.
Physiological metrics
Assess your own performance using advanced training metrics such as VO2max, training load and much more.
Endurance score
This feature measures your ability to sustain prolonged exertion, so you can see how your sporting activities affect your overall endurance.
Hill Score
The Hill Score shows you your progress in hill running, based on your training history and your VO2max. In addition, a score is calculated for your ability to run steep climbs, as well as for your running endurance on long climbs.
Daily training recommendations
View daily training recommendations for the whole week. The details are updated after every running or cycling session.
Recovery time
Find out how long you should rest before your next high-intensity workout. This is based on your last training session.
Running dynamics on your wrist
View key running efficiency metrics, including cadence, stride length, ground contact time and much more.
Running Economy
Running Economy measures how efficiently you run. In addition to speed, heart rate and the tried-and-tested Running Dynamics, the calculation also takes into account the speed loss metric. To do this, pair your smartwatch with the HRM 600 heart rate chest strap (sold separately).
Running Tolerance
Running Tolerance assesses the biomechanical stress placed on your body whilst running. Especially when running downhill, the musculoskeletal system – i.e. bones, joints, tendons and ligaments – is subjected to considerable strain. Running Tolerance evaluates this stress and thus helps you to avoid overexertion.
Speed loss on ground contact
The ‘Speed loss on ground contact’ metric measures the deceleration when your foot makes contact with the ground. Good runners lose little speed and are able to quickly convert this movement back into forward momentum. To do this, pair your smartwatch with the HRM 600 heart rate chest strap (sold separately).
Race time prediction
The race time prediction shows you what time and pace you could achieve in a race if you continue training right up to the race date you’ve entered.

Track every activity
Use pre-installed activity profiles to gain data and insights based on your activities. You can even track activities for team sports, such as football, American football, racket sports and more.

Rowing activity
Save indoor or outdoor rowing activities. For indoor activities, VO2max helps you assess the impact on cardio fitness and training (rowing machine with power meter required).
Rucking activity
This dedicated activity profile allows you to enter the pack weight (ballast) to better assess the associated physical exertion. You can also adjust the rucksack weight during the activity.
Archeryx
Advanced metrics on target alignment and release timing provide you with real-time data and analysis whilst archery, helping you to specifically improve your precision and accuracy.
