In alpine terrain in particular, ropes are often exposed to sharp edges. That is why Edelrid has now equipped its proven Starling half rope with Protect technology for significantly increased cut resistance. With Protect ropes, the sheath is reinforced with aramid fibres using a special processing method without impairing the dynamic properties of the rope.
