The DPS Carbon Wailer 107 is an all-new ski design. It’s the long-awaited mid-fat version of our award-winning 15m turning radius and rockered shaping platform.

This should be your go to if you want a powder ski that arcs slalom style turns on piste, or a nimble tree skiing tool that also slarves smooth turns down open faces. In powder, this width and shape has great floatation and maneuvers quickly in technical areas.

On hard snow, DPS Carbon Wailer 107 holds a great edge and will even crush choppy snow. Its confidence-inspiring platform and stability allows you to charge, yet it’s forgiving when you want to take it easy.

Technology

The new Carbon Wailer line is a homage to the skiers who have shaped DPS as a brand. These skis exist to make skiing a simpler and more enjoyable pursuit, with a focus on nimble wiggles through the trees, and planing through the deepest snow. They share a common shaping identity; a 15m turning radius for great maneuverability and carving energetic turns, tapered shovels for optimal flotation in powder, and a combo of rocker and camber that is versatile in all snow conditions.

Carbon Wailer skis feature a Hybrid laminate in place of the full Carbon laminate in the Kaizen skis. The hybrid laminate offers a balance of carbon response and a classic feel to your turns. These skis are constructed with a new blend of materials.
Checkerspot Algal sidewall technology (~ 60 % bio based) and Entropy bio-based (25 %) epoxy resin are stars of the show. By choosing these materials, DPS support the budding plant-based technology industry, and lower the petroleum dependence. It’s one step towards better conserving our mountain playgrounds.

Phantom Glide base
Long-lasting ideal gliding properties, without classic waxing of skis and snowboards.
PHANTOM Glide was developed by dps Ski in 2016 with the idea of creating an environmentally friendly alternative to wax that ensures gliding properties over the entire product life cycle of skis and snowboards. 

Advantages: 
- PHANTOM Glide is only applied once to ski and snowboard bases and permanently changes their structure. 
- The gliding ability in the snow is maintained in changing conditions and temperatures.
