The Deuter Freerider 24 is a lightweight freeride and ski touring backpack designed for days in winter terrain. Its close-fitting LiteSnow back system combines low weight with comfortable load distribution and is designed to minimize snow build-up and moisture absorption. This keeps the pack close to your body when freedom of movement matters on the ascent and descent.

A large U-shaped rear opening provides direct access to the main compartment while externally attached equipment can remain in place. A separate front compartment keeps avalanche safety equipment organized and quickly accessible when needed.

The winter-specific organization includes a fleece-lined goggle compartment as well as additional internal and hip-fin pockets for smaller essentials. Skis can be carried diagonally or at the side, while a snowboard can be secured to the front. Attachment options are also provided for an ice axe and helmet.
