The Free touring ski boot from the proven Dalbello Quantum series is the first choice for advanced female skiers with a desire for more. The ski boot harmoniously combines touring and freeriding in one concept and offers excellent downhill characteristics with appealing ascent performance at the same time.

Just like the men’s versions of the line, the women’s boot combines touring and freeriding in one concept and offers outstanding downhill characteristics with smooth ascent performance. Inside, the new durable IF Touring PRO liner features three-part Dalbello PuRE technology for more efficient force transmission to the shell, firm heel grip and optimal comfort.

It offers a perfect fit for all foot shapes, a lacing system in collaboration with the Dalbello Autofit technology with a memory foam tongue. Thanks to the two-piece bonded shell construction with anatomical heel shells, the overall weight remains low, and rigidity high, while, in combination with the eXtra Dual Link cuff, which also consists of two parts, more direct transmission of the control for the downhill and sufficient freedom of movement in the ascent is provided.

The New Elastic Gaiter also facilitates handling for the entry and exit, while a Vibram Dual Density sole provides improved grip when walking with no loss of contact with the binding.

Technology

AUTOFIT:
Innovative Dalbello technology consisting of two heat sealed foam components in the rear area. In this way precision and heel hold are guaranteed without risking any discomfort when walking.

Micro Schnallen:
Ermöglicht ein exaktes “Fine Tuning” des Schnallenverschlusssystems für einen besseren Fit. Das Verstellen erfolgt durch Drehen an der Schnalle (somit wird diese kürzer bzw. länger und die Passform enger bzw. weiter).

Aluminium Buckles:

High quality aluminum buckles offer light weight along with easy closure and adjustment.

FREEbuckles:
Quantum Free line has a lower cable buckle with 4 positions and a 7 mm micro adjustment system to feel the desired pressure around the foot. The upper one is a reverse closing buckle with a protection ring to avoid the disengagement from the rack while walking.

Vibram® Sole:
Featured on Quantum models, a profiled Vibram rocker sole with varying hardness offers good grip in the snow when walking and climbing plus smooth power transfer to the binding and ski.The GripWalk Vibram heel and toe set is designed to fit Lupo model boots.

PuRE:
Polyurethane Recycled Enforcement. A robust outer layer of recycled PU on the liner provides a direct power transmission from the leg to the shell

Durastep:
New VIBRAM rubber blend with improved grip capacity and longer durability

Traction lug:
Vibram Traction Lug is a three-dimensional tread block characterized by grooves and small rubber inserts arranged along the side strips. This, depending by the conditions, can increase the lateral surface area of the lug by 50 % and can improve traction properties by 25 % on different footing surfaces, compared with a traditional design.

Bonded Shell:
With Dalbello’s Bonded Shell construction, the shell is injected in two distinct lengthwise sections and then bonded with an infrared welding process. Each of the individual shell pieces can have much more contour than if injected as a single piece. Once bonded, the new Quantum series boots have a better fit than traditional ultralight shells can deliver.

X-Dual Link:
The two-piece dual link cuff allows more than a 65° range of movement, and can take the skier into touring mode instantaneously upon releasing the walk mode at the rear of the boot.
